Like their brothers and sisters across our country who choose to serve in this line of work, our firefighters and emergency responders are willing to take risks to their own lives every day to save others from injury and loss of life.
They also put their own safety at risk in order to control property damage and property loss. We cannot emphasize too much the appreciation and admiration we feel for the sacrifices they make to keep us safe from harm.
Rob Robertson is our Fire Chief who
supervises the operation of our Fire Department members. Thank you to Rob and all of our first responders for the services they provide. Full-time first responders are: Mitchell Eberhardt, Brian Jones, Rob Robertson, and Shad Stanifer.
Our Fire Department is located next to City Hall at 32 N. Court Street and is staffed 24 hours a day.
In addition to being Fire Fighters, our Department members are Emergency Medical Technicians or Paramedics.
The services provided by our Fire Department members include the following:
Educational programs for our residents about safety measures, fire and injury prevention; and promotion of information on what to do in an emergency situation
Protection of lives and property;
