Center Ridge Cemetery
Welcome to the City of Sullivan’s page for Center Ridge Cemetery. We hope this information answers your questions. If you need additional help, call the Cemetery Superintendent at 812-268-5191.

Bill Emmons serves as the Superintendent of Center Ridge Cemetery, appointed by the Mayor to oversee the care, records, and daily operations of the cemetery. He maintains all required permits, documentation, and historical records, ensuring compliance with state law and city ordinances.
Services and Oversight
The Superintendent keeps all records, permits and required information, and holds the powers and authority of a peace officer within the Cemetery grounds and immediately adjacent property. This ensures that Cemetery rules and regulations, Indiana laws and City ordinances are properly enforced for the protection of our grounds.
Visitor Guidelines
In order to maintain a respectful, safe and well-kept setting, please observe the following when visiting:
-
No planting of flowers, shrubs, trees or other landscaping items by individual gravesites.
-
No disorderly conduct, loud disturbances or interference with the peace of the grounds.
-
Speed limit within the Cemetery is 10 mph.
-
Placement of cut or artificial flowers at individual gravestones is permitted, provided they do not interfere with mowing, raking or general maintenance.
Thank you for helping us keep Center Ridge Cemetery a dignified and peaceful place for all.
